Yes, we treat hyperhidrosis with BOTOX. If you fail an alternate hyperhidrosis treatment, insurance covers the procedure. If not, we participate in a sample program in which Allergan will provide the first vial of BOTOX at no charge to our patients.
We do inject Botox into the armpits. In fact, you might want to take advantage of a free bottle of Botox for this problem. You would only have to pay the injection fee of $100. However, we can only offer this to two patients. Otherwise, insurance companies usually pay for this procedure if you have attempted (and failed) a prior treatment. Treatment lasts about 9 months.
The safest would be a hyaluronic acid filler such as Juvederm or Restylane. I prefer the former. The cost would be $350. There should be plenty left to inject in other areas of your face as or if needed. Feel free to call our office and speak to Stephanie or Dee-Dee. 757-523-4800

The temporary hyaluronic acid fillers are the safest and I think the best. The cost for Restylane in our office is $325. Medicis is offering a $50 rebate that brings the cost down to $275. Botox is not used into the lip. A little around the lip, however, does improves the lip by giving a slight pouty expression.
